Dogs trust came to visit our school to educate the children on how to properly care for a dog. We also found out what we should do in the event that a dog became overly excited. A very enjoyable and informative day.

Hedgehog rescue
5th class are extremely lucky to have a very kind and caring pupil amongst them. One of our 5th class children rescued a hedgehog, learned all about a hedgehog’s habitat and what foods they should eat and re-created that habitat at home until the hedgehog was well enough to return to the wild.
Blowing bubbles
The infants really enjoyed blowing bubbles today. Did you know that it helps to build muscles in your body and that this helps with our speech. You really have to learn to control your breath to get some big bubbles!!

Junior infants examined their unique fingerprints when they were learning the letter ‘f’. They had fun using the magnifying glass to see their fingerprints up close.
